Respondus for Vista Installation Instructions
Download and Install Respondus
Clayton State University now has a site-license for Respondus for Vista. This
license allows faculty and staff to download and install Respondus on their work
computer and a home computer and to use the software for Clayton State University-related
activities.

E-mail Faculty Lab
to obtain the user name and password for the Respondus installer.

Download the
Respondus installation
program. (http://ctl.clayton.edu/cid/Respondus/Respondus2UpdateCampus.exe)
When you are prompted to open the file or save it, click
Open.

Click OK to begin the installation.

Click Unzip.

Once the files unzip, click OK.

A status bar will show you the progress of the installation.

Close all Windows programs before continuing with the
installation. Click Next.

Click Yes to accept the license agreement.

Click Next.

Click Next.

The Equation Editor is an optional component that allows you to
use mathematical and scientific symbols in your question. If you don't
need this feature, you can click No and skip to step 15. If you do want
the Equation Editor, click Yes.

Click OK.

You may be prompted to create a folder for the Equation Editor.
Click Yes if you are prompted.

Uncheck the box to View the Read Me file and click OK.

You should be notified that the Setup program has finished
installing Respondus. Click Finish.

A shortcut to Respondus will be created on your desktop.
Double click this shortcut to finish setting up Respondus.

In the window that opens, enter the following information
exactly as it appears here:
Institution Name: Clayton State University
Local Support Contact: BarbaraThompson@mail.clayton.edu
Installation Password: 528387344

When you are prompted to select the Course Management System,
choose WebCT Vista and click OK.

Respondus is now completely set up and ready to use.
