CID staff will be available to provide assistance and instruction on software, multimedia equipment, and instructional design.

What type of services are offered?

Guidelines

Due to the limited number of workstations and multimedia equipment, usage guidelines are essential.  Our goal is to maximize the use of the Faculty Instructional Development Lab facilities by providing operating hours that will serve faculty with diverse schedules.

Appointments/Reservations
  • Dell Workstations and Multimedia Equipment

To prevent a nonproductive trip to the Faculty Instructional Development Lab, it is recommended that faculty make reservations by telephone or e-mail 24 hours in advance.

  • Software/Multimedia Equipment Assistance

Appointments for in-office assistance are required 24 hours in advance.  Drop-in assistance is given on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Workshop Participation

Since seating space in the lab is limited to 20, registration for workshops will be required.  The registration forms are posted on the Workshops page.

Lab Use Priority Ranking

Note:  To better accommodate faculty, departments requesting exclusive use of the lab facilities are encouraged to reserve the lab on Friday afternoons after 12:00 PM.
