Clayton State University IRB

Training for Human Subjects Research and Investigation.

While it is not absolutely required, all researchers and investigators engaging in scholarly activity involving human subjects are strongly encouraged to take the training available online at NIH. For those who are new to or need a refresher course on human subjects IRB issues, please review the NIH link to the Human Protections Education Course. Individuals are encouraged to send the University IRB a copy of your certificate of completion for the NIH Human Protections Education Course when submitting IRB proposals. Although the certificate of completion is not necessary, it is especially helpful to use as a guide for PI(s) in the IRB proposal and indicates significant knowledge of IRB issues.

Additional information on IRB training issues may be accessed via the Institutional Course for Research on Human Subjects from Indiana University.

The forms required for review of proposed human subject research activity may be obtained from the links below.
