 LINX Cards

The Clayton State University LINX Card is an identification card and a financial transaction card that is used by both faculty and students. As an identification card, your LINX card can be used to:

  • use any copy machine on campus
  • check out books from the library
  • receive free or discounted tickets to sporting events, plays, and concerts

Your LINX card also can be used as a debit card on campus. The LINX Account is an optional, pre-paid, declining balance account. The account is used to make purchases from vending machines, dining services, and the campus bookstore. When making a purchase at a point of sale terminal, indicate you would like to use your LINX Account and the amount is automatically deducted from your predeposited funds. To open an account, go to the LINX Card Center located in the lower level of the Student Center and make a deposit. Additional deposits may be made at the LINX Card Center with a minimum of $1.00 for cash deposits and $5.00 for credit card deposits. Deposits can be made by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. Cash can also be deposited at the Value Transfer Stations located in the Student Center, next to the Card Center and in the Library, next to the circulation desk.

For more information, visit the Linx web site.
