Testing Center
In addition to providing admissions testing, Regents
testing, and other standardized tests for the university, the
Testing
Center offers limited make-up testing and proctored WebCT tests for faculty.
Please e-mail Sharon
Stufflebean to discuss your testing idea or need.
Make-Up Testing
The decision as to whether and under what
circumstances students may make up missed exams rests with each
faculty member.
As a service to faculty and students, the
Testing Center offers campus-wide make-up exam periods on a limited
basis each semester.
To view Fall Semester 2003's make-up sessions and procedures, click
on this
make-up form.
Professors who choose to use this service
must arrange with students to be tested at one of the scheduled
sessions.
Students whose professors grant them
permission to test at one of these sessions should:
- arrange with the professor to schedule an
appointment
- find out from the professor what
materials are permitted or required
- bring a photo ID
- arrive about 15 minutes before the exam
session begins
The Testing Center will discontinue
offering make-up testing effective Spring Semester 2004.
Relatively Secure WebCT Class Testing
If you are interested in testing your
students on WebCT with the Testing Center's lab desktop computers,
please reserve a date and time for your class by e-mailing Sharon
Long before the semester
starts.
