MAPP--Measure of Academic Proficiency and Progress

To help meet outcome assessments for SACS accreditation and institutional effectiveness, the Measure of Academic Proficiency and Progress (MAPP) is administered to a sample of Clayton State University freshmen and juniors.

This test measures the effectiveness of the general education curriculum in terms of reading/critical thinking, writing, and mathematics within the context of the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences.  This website will provide more information:  http://www.ets.org/mapp.

The abbreviated MAPP test is required for ENGL 1101 classes in Fall Semester 2008; it should take about one hour to complete.

The following table shows the Fall 2008 dates and times available for testing.  Call the Testing Center at (678) 466-4495 to make your reservation.
